Am 20. September wird in Berlin gewählt: Auch über 270.000 EU-Bürgerinnen und -Bürger sind in den zwölf Bezirken dazu aufgerufen, ihre Stimme für die Bezirksverordnetenversammlung abzugeben und auf kommunaler Ebene aktiv mitzuentscheiden.
Um im Vorfeld der Wahl alle wichtigen Fragen zu beantworten, lädt die EU-Beauftragte in Reinickendorf am Montag, den 14. September um 19:00 Uhr zu einer Informationsveranstaltung in die Humboldt-Bibliothek ein. Hier erfahren die Teilnehmenden, wer wahlberechtigt ist, wie die Wahl abläuft und welche konkrete Bedeutung die eigene Stimme für Reinickendorf hat. Dabei gibt es Raum für Fragen, Austausch und Gespräche.
Die Veranstaltung richtet sich gezielt an EU-Bürgerinnen und Bürger ohne deutsche Staatsangehörigkeit, wobei alle weiteren Interessierten ebenfalls herzlich willkommen sind. Die Veranstaltung findet in deutscher Sprache statt, Fragen können jedoch auf Englisch beantwortet werden. Für Snacks und Getränke ist gesorgt.
Initiiert wird die Veranstaltung von der EU-Beauftragten des Bezirksamts Reinickendorf und findet in Zusammenarbeit mit der Volkshochschule Reinickendorf und der Stadtbibliothek Reinickendorf statt.

Elections will be held in Berlin on September 20: More than 270,000 EU citizens across the twelve districts are also called upon to cast their votes for the District Assembly and to actively participate in decision-making at the local level.
To answer all important questions in the run-up to the election, the EU Representative in Reinickendorf is hosting an information event at the Humboldt Library on Monday, September 14, at 7:00 p.m. Here, participants will learn who is eligible to vote, how the election works, and what specific impact their vote has on Reinickendorf. There will also be time for questions, discussion, and conversation.
The event is specifically aimed at EU citizens who are not German nationals, though anyone else interested is also welcome. The event will be held in German, but questions can be answered in English. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
The event is organized by the EU Representative of the Reinickendorf District Office and is held in collaboration with the Reinickendorf Adult Education Center and the Reinickendorf Municipal Library.
